Vita Balm - VitaBalm’s formula, a hypoallergenic face care product, is our most beloved. The "VitaBalm feeling" is difficult to describe, but once you do experience it, you will never want to be without it day or night! Contains no fragrance and is dye free, so it is a great product for those with sensitive skin or a perfume allergy. Whenever you cleanse your skin, follow at once with VitaBalm, applying a small amount to your face and neck morning and evening. You may experience a slightly tacky feel to the skin that disappears as VitaBalm is absorbed. Once absorbed it leaves your skin with a near velvety appearance. Always use VitaBalm under all of your other products. Once absorbed follow up with a moisturizer like Oasis Mosisture Balm and then your make up during the day. When using VitaBalm at night, follow up with Vita Magic Night Cream. Skin care that is cruelty free. This hypoallergenic face care product contains no fragrance, dyes or paraben preservatives.

VitaBalm is a hypoallergenic face care product sold exclusively by Patricia Allison Beauty. It is our best selling product. Customers who use this very popular product swear by it. Asking my customers (some whom have been using this product for 50 years) why they like this product and if it has any special uses, here is what some of them said:
 -  Kristen from Massachusetts says that she had heard that you can use VitaBalm for victims of burns, that it has healing properties. My own son forgot to put on sunscreen the other day and ended up with very red skin on this shoulders. Remebering what Kristen said, I put some VitaBalm on his sunburn. He said that it had a cooling, soothing feeling and indeed it did make his sunburn feel better.
 - Jeanette from North Carolina tells me that she uses VitaBalm on rashes. She says that it has a healing, firming effect on her skin.
 - Pamela from Michigan uses VitaBalm as a primer under her make-up
 - Anne from California takes VitaBalm on her camping trips and when she doesn't have access to a shower she just uses some VitaBalm.
 - Since VitaBalm contains no oils, I have several customers who are allergic to oils that can use this product.
 - Wynemah from California is in her 90's and has been using VitaBalm since it first came out (over 50 years ago). But people can't tell that she is in her 90's or even close to that. She attributes her youthful appearance to her faithful use of VitaBalm.
 - Josephine from Florida simply says that she can't live without her VitaBalm!

Ingredients: Deionized Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer 934, Triethanolamine, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (oat), Caprylyldroxamic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol

ingredients explained:*

  • Glycerin is usually derived from corn, but not always. A by-product of soap manufacturing, glycerin has strong humectant properties and emollient qualities, which means its job in this hypoallergenic face care product is to help soften the skin and help it retain moisture by absorbing moisture from the air. Retaining moisture helps to keep skin looking healthy and in its best condition.
  • Propylene glycol is an organic alcohol -used in this hypoallergenic face care product as a surfactant (helping ingredients mix together and help keep product from separating) and as a skin conditioner. The conditioning part works by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness to the skin.
  • Carbomer 934 keeps this hypoallergenic face care product from separating into its oil and water components and also used as a thickening agent. Carbomer gives this hypoallergenic skin care product its rich texture. Carbomer does not absorb into the skin. 934 refers to its molecular weight.
  • Triethanolamine is sometimes used as a coating ingredient in fresh fruits and vegetables. In this hypoallergenic face care product it is used as an emulsifier, so that water soluble and oil soluble ingredients can be blended together. It is also used to control the pH and it is what enables this product to thicken into a gel.
  • Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein (oat)- made from oats, this vegetable protein helps the skin in so many ways: it helps the skin retain and add moisture which in turn gives the skin softness. Hydrolized Vegetable Protein made from oats also improves the feel property of this hypoallergenic face care product, which in turn gives your skin a near velvety smoothness after drying.
  • Capryldroxamic Acid is an organic acid. It is used as a preservative in this product, to prevent fungus and mold growth.
  • Benzyl Alcohol - is an organic alcohol found naturally in many foods and the essential oil of many plants. It is a topical anticeptic and also used as a preservative.

Vita Balm does not contain any added fragrance, is dye free,  paraben free and is only sold through Patricia Allison Beauty llc, a cruelty free company.

Vita Balm is one of the best products for the face.

Posted by Bobbie Scruggs on 13th Sep 2013

I was introduced to Patricia Allison Products about 35 years ago. Back then, I first met my husband's Aunt Zelma. She was an older lady. I noticed she had a very pretty complexion. I asked her what she used on her face, and how nice she looked. She told me about Patricia Allison Products. I began to order them for my self.
I haven't found any product I like better than Vita Balm. A lot of moisture lotions burn my eyes. This does not.
I told my sister about Patricia Allison Products, now she orders them as well.

Vita-balm does have an unusual feel, that, as stated in the product description, you can't live without. THis wakes up my skin. I can't really describe it - it must be tried!!
